Job Summary

Austin Energy is seeking a highly skilled Organizational Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs to improve business performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver training modules, workshops, and facilitations to selected audiences
  • Develop and evaluate plans and activities for assigned projects and programs
  • Facilitate groups in areas such as conflict resolution, team development, process improvement, strategic planning, and problem solving
  • Provide leadership for groups including other professionals and support staff in the area of Organizational Development and Training
  • Mentor less experienced Organizational Development and Training personnel
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Development or related field, plus three (3) years of experience in organizational development and training
  • One (1) additional year of closely related experience may substitute for one (1) year of the required education up to a maximum of four (4) years substitution
  • Experience writing curriculum/modules for data driven training initiatives designed to improve business performance and customer satisfaction, with experience facilitating train-the-trainer sessions to module content for facilitators
  • Experience creating eLearning modules using Adobe Captivate or similar software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a customer service centered environment and knowledge of good customer relations practices
Working Conditions
