**BluePearl Pet Hospital Job Opportunity:**
We are seeking an experienced Overnight Emergency Veterinary Technician to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced emergency department, providing critical care to pets in need.
**Job Summary:
Our ideal candidate will have experience working in an emergency veterinary setting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As an Overnight Emergency Veterinary Technician, you will perform physical exams, accurately count vital signs, administer medications, and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Performs physical exam; accurately counts heart, pulse rate, capillary refill time, mucous membranes, temperature, respiratory rate and effort+
+ Understands normal vital parameters and alerts doctor when abnormal+
+ Performs phlebotomy+
+ Ability to place peripheral intravenous catheter in cephalic vein+
+ Able to read and follow orders written on treatment sheet accurately and in a timely manner+
