We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Specialist at The Sherwin-Williams Company. As a key member of our retail store team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to wholesale and retail customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Sales and Merchandising: Assist customers in selecting the right products and services, and process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Maintain precise work order files and formulas, and ensure that products are stocked and presented in a visually appealing manner.
- Store Operations: Clean store equipment, load and unload delivery trucks, and assist with making deliveries as needed.
- Knowledge and Communication: Remain knowledgeable about products offered and discuss available options with customers, and comply with inventory control procedures.
- Age and Authorization: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
- Physical Abilities: Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
- Availability: Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Driver's License: Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- Education: Have at least a High School diploma or GED.
- Experience: Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position, and previous work experience selling paint and paint related products.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language, and ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
