Electrical Commissioning Manager with Energy Storage Expertise

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Manager I to provide project management and design leadership for our Energy Storage Group. The successful candidate will have effective customer relationship management skills and support the development of early-stage Energy Solutions planning and development service offerings.

This role offers a 50/50 split between field and design responsibilities, providing opportunities for growth and professional development. The base compensation range for this position is $118,000 - $177,000, with higher ranges for specific office locations (5% in Denver, CO and Chicago, IL; 10% in Seattle, WA and Portland, OR; 12.5% in Washington, D.C.). This position is eligible for a potential annual bonus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical electrical support by reviewing design documents for conformance with contract expectations and resolving issues or conflicts that could impact installation or other trades involved with the project.
  • Review contractual testing, commissioning, and turnover requirements.
  • Develop a plan and schedule for onsite testing and commissioning services.
  • Supervise and ensure quality control of the work team, including self-performed and subcontracted work.
  • Interface with other departments to ensure all required materials, equipment, and inspections support the project schedule.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent field experience, with a minimum of eight years of electrical construction management and/or commissioning experience. Proficiency in low, medium, and high-voltage technical knowledge is essential, as well as specialized knowledge/experience in electrical DC systems, low voltage AC systems, controls, and substations.
