Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Operations Supervisor to join our team at HomeGoods. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of merchandise, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise Processing: Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing of merchandise onto the sales floor.
  • Customer Service: Engage and interact with all customers to provide an excellent shopping experience.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the backroom area.
  • Team Management: Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles, and monitor productivity to ensure tasks are completed according to store plan.
  • Inventory Control: Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with management and Associates to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor and to address priorities.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
  • Skills: Superior communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Physical Demands: Able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
