Retail Engagement Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Engagement Coordinator to join our team at HomeGoods. As a key member of our frontline team, you will be responsible for promoting a highly satisfied customer experience while driving customer loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a highly satisfied customer experience through excellent customer service and product knowledge.
- Drive customer loyalty through programs and initiatives that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
- Address customer concerns and issues promptly and professionally.
- Update associates on current customer experience feedback, goals, and company initiatives.
- Train and mentor associates on policies and procedures to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Provide recognition and constructive feedback to associates on cashier performance.
- Maintain and monitor cash controls, including change funds, to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Adhere to all labor laws and meal and break period policies to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- Assign registers and coordinate breaks to ensure optimized coverage at the frontline and sales floor.
- Audit and approve paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain cleanliness, recovery, and organizational standards throughout the frontline to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Monitor all frontline equipment and communicate issues to management to ensure seamless operations.
- Execute and adhere to company directives to ensure compliance and excellence.
- Maintain and uphold merchandising standards within the queue line to ensure a visually appealing and engaging customer experience.
- Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
- Ensure proper and timely handling of damages and mark out of stock to minimize losses and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Promote a safe environment and report any safety hazards to management to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent degree preferred.
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Able to work as a team member and provide direction to others.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Able to lift heavy merchandise with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Able to train and provide direction to others.
- Able to run a register and handle money.
- Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Experience as a coordinator or previous retail/supervisory experience preferred.

Compensation: This position has a starting pay range of $18.15 to $18.65 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
