Health/Safety/Environmental (HSE) Coordinator – Job Overview

Reporting To: HSE Director

Key Responsibilities:

The HSE Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that all personnel at Noble Casing, Inc., Noble Drilling, LLC., and Noble Trucking LLC. receive the necessary HSE training, tools, and leadership to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

This position requires collaboration with management across all divisions to guarantee that employees are equipped with the training and resources needed to achieve positive HSE outcomes and fulfill their HSE responsibilities.

The HSE Coordinator is tasked with implementing strategies to minimize potential risks across all locations and providing support for Employee/On-Boarding Safety Training to ensure that training materials are accurate, compliant, and effectively delivered to both new and existing staff.


Primary Duties:
  • Foster a positive HSE culture within the organization to mitigate risks and ensure a safe, compliant workplace for all employees.
  • Conduct appropriate risk assessments and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions to minimize injuries and environmental impacts.
  • Assist in the development and management of HSE procedures, programs, and documentation as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate HSE recordkeeping and data integrity across all Noble locations to support reporting and HSE initiatives.
  • Monitor compliance with safety standards as per OSHA and state regulations.
  • Support the testing and servicing of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Conduct regular inspections of safety equipment and emergency response tools.
  • Perform safety audits and inspections, documenting findings and collaborating with the HSE Director to address any issues.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, generating reports to identify causes and preventive measures.
  • Conduct trend analysis and site inspections to evaluate operational procedures and equipment.

In emergencies, the HSE Coordinator is expected to respond appropriately to hazardous material situations and ensure compliance with regulations regarding hazardous materials management.


Additional Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to Safety Training Coordinators as needed.
  • Assist management in identifying potential risks during facility walkthroughs.
  • Participate in special projects as directed by management.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of direct HSE experience.
  • Experience in HSE functions within the oil and gas, manufacturing, or field service sectors.
  • Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in conducting HSE audits and training.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred.
Travel Requirements:

Approximately 25% travel is required to support HSE activities across various locations.
