">We are currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in the Lexington, North Carolina area. As an SLPA, you will work closely with a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.
">Salary Range
">The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000-$60,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
">Responsibilities
">The successful candidate will be responsible for:
">- Assisting in the implementation of speech therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist;
- Providing direct therapy services to clients, including individual and group sessions;
- Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records;
- Collaborating with other members of the therapy team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans;
- Communicating effectively with clients, families, and team members.
Requirements
">To be considered for this role, you must have:
">- An Associate's degree in Speech Language Pathology Assistant program or related field;
- A valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant license or certification in the state of North Carolina;
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred;
- Prior experience working with individuals with communication disorders is preferred;
- Experience working with AAC devices is preferred;
- Familiarity with IEPs.
