We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team in the Lexington, North Carolina area.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
Job ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders in an elementary school setting. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the implementation of speech therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
- Providing direct therapy services to clients, including individual and group sessions
- Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborating with other members of the therapy team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- An Associates degree in Speech Language Pathology Assistant program or related field
- A valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant license or certification in the state of North Carolina
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred
- Prior experience working with individuals with communication disorders is preferred
- Experience working with AAC devices is preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs
