Your Role as a Life Science Field Support Technician:

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct service checks and install instruments at client locations.
  • Provide presentations and training sessions for customers on our products.
  • Address any inquiries while on-site or during customer communications.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and understand their needs.
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities with customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in our CRM system.
  • Assist the sales team with relevant tasks as needed.
  • Review and enhance current instrument policies.
  • Handle customer information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Travel 80-90% of the time to customer sites, primarily within the New England area, with occasional overnight trips within the US and Canada.
  • Work from the office when not visiting clients.
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences (Essential).
  • 1+ year of customer-facing experience (Preferred).
  • 1+ year of experience with GMP (Preferred).
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Capable of building rapport with clients.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Possesses strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Skilled in effective questioning to uncover customer needs.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in task management.
  • Adapts quickly to changing situations and problem-solving.
  • Willing to travel across various locations in the US and Canada.
  • Eligible to work in the US, with potential for OPT and visa sponsorship for the right candidate.
Experience:
  • Experience in cell culture (primary, cell lines, apheresis): 1 year (Preferred).
  • Familiarity with flow cytometry and/or fluorescent microscopy: 1 year (Preferred).
