Job Summary

Brandmuscle is seeking a highly skilled Shipping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our shipping department, including personnel, processes, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of shipping personnel to meet daily shipping objectives and promote a positive team atmosphere.
  • Coordinate outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of shipments.
  • Determine priorities, staff assignments, and shipping methods required to meet schedule.
  • Train, develop, and monitor the performance of the shipping team.
  • Complete shipments packaged by the department through various shipping methods.
  • Coordinate shipments with customers to multiple locations.
  • Ship outgoing supplies to vendors for additional work.
  • Follow daily shipping schedule to ensure all shipments are expedited.
  • Ensure the shipping area is organized and clean at all times.
  • Assist with monthly and yearly inventories in the plant.
  • Receive all incoming packages and deliver them to appropriate locations.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels and usage of packing materials.
  • Optimize use of shipping personnel to maximize productivity.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a requirement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly motivated individual with a self-directed approach.
  • Computer proficiency required.
  • A "can do" attitude with multi-tasking capabilities.
