Position Summary:

MEMCO Staffing is in search of a seasoned Journeyman Plumber Foreman/Superintendent to manage plumbing operations on commercial construction sites. The successful candidate will possess substantial experience in leading plumbing teams, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and adhering to project timelines. This position demands exceptional leadership abilities, technical knowledge, and a strong commitment to safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:Leadership and Oversight:
  • Direct and oversee a team of plumbers, ensuring all tasks are executed to the highest standards.
  • Delegate responsibilities and track progress to guarantee adherence to project schedules.
  • Provide on-site mentorship and support to junior plumbers and apprentices.
Project Coordination:
  • Work in conjunction with project managers, engineers, and other trade foremen to synchronize plumbing activities.
  • Analyze and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to strategize plumbing installations.
  • Ensure all plumbing work aligns with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Quality Assurance:
  • Evaluate completed work to confirm it meets quality benchmarks and project specifications.
  • Identify and address any issues or discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials utilized, and project advancements.
Safety and Compliance:
  • Implement safety protocols and procedures to foster a secure working environment.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to mitigate accidents and injuries.
  • Ensure all team members are trained and adhere to safety regulations.
Qualifications:Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber in commercial construction.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or foreman capacity.
  • Clean Background (No Felony Record)
  • OSHA 10/30 Certification
Education and Certification:
  • Valid Journeyman Plumber License.
Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work in diverse weather conditions and on various terrains.
  • Capable of lifting heavy materials and equipment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
