Job Summary:

MEMCO Staffing is seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber Foreman/ Superintendent to oversee plumbing operations on commercial construction sites. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing plumbing teams, ensuring the quality of work, and maintaining project schedules. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership:

-Lead and supervise a team of plumbers, ensuring all work is performed to the highest standards.

-Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure project timelines are met.

-Provide on-site training and guidance to junior plumbers and apprentices.

Project Management:

-Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trade foremen to coordinate plumbing activities.

-Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan plumbing installations.

-Ensure all plumbing work complies with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Quality Control:

-Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.

-Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.

-Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.

Safety and Compliance:

-Enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment.

-Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to prevent accidents and injuries.

-Ensure all team members are trained and compliant with safety regulations.

Qualifications:

Experience:

-Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber in commercial construction.

-At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or foreman role.

-Clean Background ( NO Feloney record)

-OSHA 10/30

Education and Certification:

-Valid Journeyman Plumber license.

Skills:

-Strong leadership and team management skills.

-Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

-Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:

-Ability to work in various weather conditions and on different types of terrain.

-Capable of lifting heavy materials and equipment.

-Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
