Job Title: Registered Nurse, Endoscopy

North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Endoscopy team in Gilmore Amory, Mississippi.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Endoscopy department. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering safe and effective care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized patient care and document accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with all NMHS policies and requirements as directed by the Nurse Manager and Educator.
  • Provide patient and family education, and serve as a resource for existing staff and new employees.
  • Maintain effective communication with multidisciplinary team members to provide holistic care to patients.
  • Participate in daily huddles to ensure proper assignments and identify team members for the shift.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Mississippi.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • ACLS certification (dependent on hiring department).
  • TB certification (dependent on hiring department).
  • PALS certification (dependent on hiring department).
  • ASLS certification (dependent on hiring department).
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification (dependent on hiring department).
