North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Float Pool team in Gilmore Amory, Mississippi.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Float Pool RN, you will have the opportunity to work in various departments, including the operating room, and develop your skills in a variety of settings.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans based on assessment and evaluation.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient care and interventions.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing; required
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Mississippi; required
- Certified with American Heart Association (AHA) in CPR ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in circulating nurse role; preferred
- Completion of Nursing Orientation (3 to 6 months); required
- Demonstrated competency of skills necessary to provide nursing care of patients ranging from neonate to geriatrics undergoing surgical interventions.
- Must have knowledge and skills to operate computer software/hardware; required
- Must complete RN orientation and approved unit specific checklist
- Must maintain department requirements for continuing education and any specific unit requirements to provide appropriate age-specific care
- Must have effective communication and teaching skills
