We are looking for dedicated Ocean Operations Coordinators to join our dynamic Mission Control Team at Saildrone Inc. This role is pivotal in orchestrating the operational elements of our diverse projects while overseeing the performance of our uncrewed surface vehicles (USVs) in real-time.

Saildrone Inc. is at the forefront of ocean exploration, utilizing cutting-edge technology to gather, analyze, and disseminate critical oceanographic data. Our fleet of autonomous vehicles, powered by renewable energy, is designed to minimize environmental impact while providing essential insights into our oceans.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement: Actively participate in collaborative discussions with clients, ensuring clear communication before, during, and after missions.
- Mission Planning: Develop and implement effective routing strategies to enhance mission success.
- Data Monitoring: Oversee the health and performance of our fleet, ensuring optimal operation of payload sensors and vehicle telemetry.
- Regulatory Compliance: Liaise with relevant authorities to facilitate mission operations and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Essential Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of maritime operations, including navigation and safety regulations.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented with a disciplined approach to operational processes.
- Experience in problem-solving and adapting to new technologies.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in maritime environments, particularly in roles involving navigation and vessel management.
- Familiarity with Command and Control Center operations.
- Background in analyzing marine weather reports and environmental conditions.
