Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated first shift (6 am – 2:30 pm) Production Assembler for our Entrance Solutions division. The role involves executing assembly and packaging tasks essential to the manufacturing of automatic doors.


Key Responsibilities
  • Review assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists to gather necessary components, tools, and materials.
  • Assemble sub-assemblies and components to ensure proper fit according to established specifications.
  • Package products in accordance with quality standards and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Utilize hand tools for assembly and measurement of required parts.
  • Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, anticipating supply needs, placing orders, and confirming receipt of supplies.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED Certification.
  • Ability to interpret various forms of instructions, including written, oral, and diagrammatic.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • General assembly skills are preferred.

Physical Requirements

This position requires regular communication and active engagement. The role is physically demanding, involving standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.


Preferred Experience

Prior experience in an assembly or production environment is advantageous.
