Job Summary

1 Hotels is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead our culinary team at 1 Kitchen Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operation, ensuring seamless execution of our culinary vision, and delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative menus that showcase our culinary expertise and commitment to using only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients.
  • Lead a high-performing kitchen team, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure exceptional service and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to create a dynamic and engaging dining experience that reflects our brand's values and commitment to sustainability.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and supply chain management, to ensure efficient and cost-effective food production.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local farmers, suppliers, and other industry partners to source the highest quality ingredients and support our community.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in leading high-performing kitchen teams.
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in culinary arts or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of culinary operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and kitchen safety protocols.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of culinary professionals.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing priorities and deadlines.
