Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to work with a team of board-certified pulmonologists and pulmonary specialists who use the latest diagnostic tests and treatments to provide comprehensive pulmonary care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a range of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests, such as spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis, to assess lung function and identify potential issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care.
  • Associate's RRT or RRT Equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of North Carolina.
