Job Summary:

We're seeking a Clinical Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Clinical Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including mentoring, coaching, and evaluating performance.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice.
  • Provide education and training to nursing staff on new policies, procedures, and technologies.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois or Wisconsin.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, with at least 1 year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
