Nursing Attendant-Central Nursing Service-Evening Shift Position

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Attendant to join our Central Nursing Service team in an evening shift role. As a Nursing Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing direct and indirect patient care to assigned patients under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with Admission/Transfer/Discharge of patients, ensuring a smooth transition and providing necessary support.
- Conduct patient rounds for toileting, positioning, comfort, safety, and personal needs, responding promptly to patient call lights.
- Prepare patients for meals, including clearing overbed tables, positioning patients correctly, and assisting with feeding.
- Perform and/or assist patients with simple treatments, such as removing and reapplying SCD wraps and assisting with enema procedures.
- Collect specimens as directed by the RN and inform them of any audible clinical alarms.
- Assist with moving, lifting, positioning, and transporting patients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Perform post-mortem care and maintain a safe and uncluttered environment of care in patient rooms.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate of Certified Nursing Attendant program or minimum 6 months relevant experience.
- BLS or Heartsaver CPR/AED certification required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
