Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Environmental Engineer to enhance our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity of water treatment systems through rigorous inspection and compliance checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspection & Testing: Conduct thorough evaluations of water treatment installations, ensuring adherence to design specifications and regulatory standards.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, including detailed reports that highlight compliance status and any necessary corrective actions.
- Coordination & Supervision: Work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders to address environmental quality issues and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Compliance & Safety: Monitor safety practices on-site, ensuring all personnel follow established safety protocols and utilize appropriate protective equipment.
- Continuous Improvement: Engage in the development of quality control procedures, providing insights for enhancing inspection processes.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental engineering or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Oregon or the ability to obtain it shortly.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare detailed reports.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
