Sales Associate - Retail Specialist

As a full-time Sales Associate - Retail Specialist, you will receive competitive compensation starting at $15 to $16 per hour plus cash tips. ROLE DETAILS

Schedule: This is a full-time role with flexible shifts available across multiple Michigan locations. Your schedule will include various shifts, such as 9 AM to 3 PM, 3 PM to 9 PM, and some weekends.

Your Daily Responsibilities: As a Sales Associate - Retail Specialist, your day will start with welcoming customers and understanding their needs, whether they are experienced cannabis users or new to the scene. You will provide knowledgeable guidance on our extensive product range, process transactions accurately, and highlight the benefits of being a Jars customer, including our loyalty program. During busy periods, you will maintain composure under pressure, assist with inventory management, and keep the sales area organized. Throughout your shift, you will be actively engaging with customers, upselling products, and ensuring every visitor leaves satisfied with the ideal product.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • At least 3 years of experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, or sales
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math proficiency
  • Familiarity with cannabis strains and their uses
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to operate a computer, POS system, and other office equipment
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and/or events
  • Openness to constructive feedback and coaching from management
