About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Assistant to join our General Administration team at Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC), a family-owned business with a rich history dating back before Prohibition. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide essential support to a manager or group of managers, ensuring efficient use of time and resources. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a vibrant, inclusive culture and contribute to our growing team of energetic professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support, including secretarial, clerical, and other duties as required.
  • Answer telephone and email communications, take dictation, and compose routine correspondence for department personnel.
  • Assist in planning meetings, company dinners, and other company-related functions.
  • Prepare reports, perform special projects, and develop materials as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of one year certificate from college or technical school, three to six months related experience, and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • The ability to work overtime and lift/move up to 10 pounds occasionally.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software (such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) or the aptitude to learn.
  • The ability to operate all office equipment.
