Job Summary

Vogel Law is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to provide high-quality administrative and legal support to attorneys and staff. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing your organizational skills, attention to detail, and technical expertise.

About the Role

  • We are looking for a highly organized and efficient individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative support to attorneys, including preparing documents, managing calendars, and maintaining accurate records.
  • You will also assist with various tasks such as processing bills, preparing reports, and performing overload typing and filing duties.
  • In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining confidentiality of client matters and upholding all policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Approximately one to two years of experience in a law office setting or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to read and write to proof and perform editing of routine law office correspondence and legal case matters.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology, state and federal court filing rules, basic legal procedure, and law office protocol.
  • Strong technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Document Management, Time & Billing, Calendar & Docketing, Transcription, and Desktop Publishing & Videoconferencing.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and complete administrative tasks correctly and on time.
