An Excellent Opportunity

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Specialist. This role is responsible for establishing community connections to secure girl and adult membership in the surrounding communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and coordinate events, troops, and meetings for girls and adults through community venues.
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with local schools, parent organizations, businesses, and community organizations to increase visibility, funding options, and partnerships.
  • Develop and maintain resources to support all communities.
Requirements
  • Passionate about girl leadership
  • Excellent communication skills with knowledge of how best to reach different audiences and execute communications among multigenerational communities.
  • High School Diploma or College Degree preferred
  • Self-motivated and efficient with strong time-management skills
  • Great written and oral communication skills, including public presentations (virtually and in person)
  • Ability to relate well to both adults and children
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office, major social media platforms, and various video conferencing software; familiarity with Salesforce, a plus
  • Have access to automobile for daily travel
  • Girl Scout experience is very helpful (but not critical)
  • Comfortable and able to converse in Spanish would be useful (but not a must)
