Job Summary

The Security Officer will be responsible for patrolling the hotel, casino, and outdoor areas to prevent and detect potential security threats. This includes circulating through the premises, responding to emergencies, and taking appropriate action to ensure the safety and security of everyone on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol the hotel, casino, and outdoor areas to identify potential security risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
  • Respond to emergency situations, such as medical emergencies, fires, or other incidents, and provide assistance as needed.
  • Conduct regular checks of security equipment, including cameras and alarms, to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as hotel staff and casino management, to ensure a seamless and secure experience for guests.
  • Complete incident reports and other documentation as required.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of a normal shift.
  • Other physical requirements include but are not limited to: lifting, reaching, kneeling, bending, and episodes of moderate to strenuous physical exertion.
  • Prior experience in casino security or a related field is preferred.
  • May be required to possess a valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the Company and/or its insurers.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
