We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor and manage patient's vital signs, medication, and treatment plans, and report any changes or concerns to the physician or other healthcare team members.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Current California RN License
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
- Current American Heart Association ACLS and Initial Dysrhythmia Recognition within 90 days of hire
- Minimum one year recent ICU/critical care experience in an acute care facility
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms
- Recent acute care experience preferred
