Critical Care Nurse

UCI Health is a leading academic health system based in Orange County, California. As a comprehensive healthcare provider, we offer a wide range of medical services, including tertiary and quaternary care, to patients in Orange County, western Riverside County, and southeast Los Angeles County.
Your Role on the TeamThe ICU Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to assigned patients in the ICU units, in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. This role requires a supportive, compassionate, and efficient team player with excellent interpersonal skills to maintain a plan of care for vulnerable patients.

Requirements- Current California RN License
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
- Current American Heart Association ACLS and Initial Dysrhythmia Recognition within 90 days of hire
- One year recent ICU/critical care experience in an acute care facility
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms
- Recent acute care experience preferred
