Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at UCI Medical Center. As a Float Pool Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care while maintaining a high performance level in quality, service, critical nursing skills, and critical thinking. You will be responsible for floating to all Telemetry and Medical/Surgical Departments, and must be familiar with and adhere to Regulatory Standards and Fountain Valley Regional Hospital Policies and Procedure.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care while maintaining a high performance level in quality, service, critical nursing skills, and critical thinking.
  • Float to all Telemetry and Medical/Surgical Departments as needed.
  • Must be familiar with and adhere to Regulatory Standards and Fountain Valley Regional Hospital Policies and Procedure.
Requirements
  • Current California Registered Nurse License.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certifications.
  • Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in a Telemetry Department.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
