The Domestic Sales Coordinator will provide comprehensive support to the Domestic Sales team by managing administrative tasks, overseeing assigned projects, and maintaining effective organization with our retail partners.
Key Responsibilities:
New Product Launch Support:
Assist with the launch of new products by executing the following tasks for each distributor and retailer:
- Preparation of necessary forms (e.g., Sephora NPF)
- Development of retail assortments
- Creation of order forms
- Management of markdown forms
- Provision of product samples
- Preparation of product marketing sheets
Collaborate with internal teams to gather essential information for form distribution and retailer portal uploads, including:
- SKU/UPCs
- Pricing details
- Product dimensions
- Ingredient lists
- Country of Origin (COO)
- Case pack information
Department Coordination:
Facilitate Prep/Market Weeks calls with Account Leads and Retailers. Maintain an updated directory of Domestic Retailers and ensure the office product closet is well-stocked. Manage warehouse requests for retail samples and market promotions, keeping track of submission and shipment timelines.
Visual Merchandising:
Oversee seasonal updates for retailer gondola assortments, ensuring that all changes are documented and reflect current business needs. Verify the accuracy of assortments, orders, and pricing throughout the routing process.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Maintain internal trackers with the latest information by sending regular updates to the team. Ensure monthly order forms are current by reviewing discontinued items and new product introductions. Keep the Domestic Retailer Calendar updated and compile competitive press and marketing activities.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a minimum of one year of experience in a similar capacity, with prior exposure to the beauty industry being advantageous. A college degree in sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Essential skills include:
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Proactive follow-up and timeline management
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Proven teamwork capabilities alongside individual project management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), SharePoint, Workfront, Google Apps, and Mac systems
- Ability to work accurately with detailed information
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Candidates should be prepared to work in the office a few days each week.
Physical Requirements:
This position involves sitting for extended periods, frequent typing, and consistent use of a computer and phone. Some standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required.
