Job Title: Spanish Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Spanish Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care to our pediatric patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Summary:

The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and preventing language, speech, and swallowing disorders in children, adolescents, and adults. You will design and implement individualized plans of care, utilizing functional, measurable, and attainable goals, based on interpretation of evaluation results and patient and/or family goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose language, speech, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients
  • Design and implement individualized plans of care, utilizing functional, measurable, and attainable goals
  • Provide written evaluations defining Speech Therapy needs, goals, and expected outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client performance, modifying goals and treatment as needed
  • Participate in coordination of services, including discharge planning, with health care team, physicians, parent/guardians, nurses, and others
  • Document in accordance with Speech Therapy Standards of Practice, Aveanna policies and procedures, and Regulatory Agency guidelines
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited college/university
  • Current and unrestricted SLP license to practice in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • NPI number
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One (1) year of recent experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in an acute care setting
  • Pediatric experience preferred
