Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing multiple types of gamma cameras, ensuring proper injection techniques while injecting radioisotopes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform IV puncture and administer radiopharmaceuticals via IV when necessary
  • Communicate with patients, obtain informed consent when required, and request accurate clinical history as necessary for the exam
  • Receive patients, explain examination methods, and position them appropriately for imaging
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications in accordance with state and federal regulations

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • Current ARRT (R) (NM) or NMTCB as CNMT registry
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
