Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Denver, Colorado.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide top-notch patient care and contribute to our team's success.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and perform diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine technology.
  • Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in nuclear medicine technology and best practices.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program.
  • Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or certified in nuclear medicine (NM) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • State licensure if required by law.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
