Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN

Intermountain Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing patient-centered care while demonstrating our values of Integrity, Trust, Excellence, Accountability, and Mutual Respect.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing multiple types of gamma cameras, utilizing proper injection techniques while injecting radioisotopes.
- Prepare exam room, communicate with the patient, obtain informed consent when necessary, and request an accurate clinical history as necessary for the exam.
- Select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols to complete the exam.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year College or Technical School; or a minimum of one (1) year minimum related experience and/or training, required.
- Current ARRT (R) (NM) or NMTCB as CNMT registry, required.
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required.
