Busperson - Hospitality Team Member

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Busperson to join our hospitality team at M Resort. As a Busperson, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Familiarize yourself with service standards for the restaurant, including table setups, beverage service, and pre-busing of tables.
  • Clean and set each table completely before moving on to another.
  • Clear all dirty dishes, wipe tables with a clean cloth, clean ashtrays, wipe booths and chairs, and reset tables completely and properly.
  • Stock service stations, glasses, cups, silverware, and other essential items.
  • Keep the restaurant clean, including floors, carpet, service stations, and other areas.
  • Handle all silver, glass, and China in a sanitary manner, from the handles of silverware and cups to the bottom of glasses.
  • Assist wait persons when possible, without neglecting your own duties to get beverages or other items for them.
  • Never pick up money or guest checks from tables.
  • Supply the sidestand with bulk supplies.
  • Empty garbage from the sidestand areas.
  • Remove condiments and reusable items from bus carts.
  • Break down side stations.
  • Perform related tasks as dictated by your supervisor.
  • Maintain coffee urns, milk dispensers, juice machines, ice tea machines, soda dispensers, and clean dispensing units.
  • Ensure all stations are clean and stocked before the end of your shift.
  • Provide courteous and friendly service to all customers and staff.
  • Perform related work as requested.

Requirements:

  • Previous bussing experience is helpful.
  • Ability to present yourself in a professional, pleasant, confident, and well-groomed manner.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with customers and staff.
  • Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
  • Clark County Health Card.
