About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our Ecolab Textile Care team as an Assistant District Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with customers, and providing exceptional service to our commercial laundry customers in the Northeast US region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve district sales and expense budget targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including key decision-makers and influencers
  • Provide expert consultation and solutions to customers to improve linen quality, boost operating efficiencies, and enhance sustainability
  • Collaborate with the District Manager to develop and implement customized solutions for customers
  • Identify business needs and opportunities and develop and implement customized solutions for customers
  • Take action to consistently increase customer satisfaction and retain customers
  • Understand and demonstrate the sales process and utilization of sales tools to maximize leads and generate new business
  • Gain new business through focused and targeted prospecting, and continuous involvement in the marketplace
  • Encourage and assist the team to find new ways of doing business, increase sales, and continuous process improvement to exceed growth targets
  • Foster a team environment in which new knowledge and ideas drive growth
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years' general sales, sales management, and business management experience
  • Demonstrated expertise with Textile Care product lines and offerings
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentations skills
  • Excellent organization and follow-up skills
  • Flexibility to work emergency calls at night, on weekends, and over holidays
  • Ability to travel extensively as necessary
  • Valid driver's license and an acceptable 2-yr driving record
