Pharmacist PRN Role at Emory Healthcare
Emory Healthcare is seeking a skilled Pharmacist PRN to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing patient-centered medication management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, compound, and dispense medications with accuracy and integrity.
- Document allergy and clinical information as required.
- Handle post-op and transfer orders in accordance with departmental policy and procedure.
- Ensure accurate preparation of sterile products by pharmacy technicians.
- Prevent and resolve drug-related problems through consultations with prescribers.
- May oversee the work of pharmacy students, interns, and technicians.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
- One year of hospital experience preferred.
- New graduates under contract through the Emory tuition program are also eligible.
Compensation:
$25/hour (flat rate) with shift differentials available.
