Key Responsibilities

Objective

The Assembly Team at Oceaneering Mobile Robotics is tasked with the mechanical and electrical assembly of our Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs). The Assembly Technician will be responsible for constructing the designed AMRs, ensuring that all products are built and tested in line with Oceaneering's quality and safety standards. Should any challenges arise during the assembly process, the Assembly Technician is expected to take initiative and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to find solutions. The role concludes with testing the AMRs before handing them over to the software team for further use.

The assembly process may vary from single prototype builds to final production runs and small batch manufacturing, preparing for large-scale production with third-party partners. To achieve optimal results, the Assembly Technician collaborates closely with project teams, engineering departments, and quality assurance teams.

Responsibilities

Assist in executing the assembly tasks of AMRs as assigned in various projects.

Implement established standards, processes, and procedures to uphold workplace safety and quality.

Propose creative and effective solutions when faced with challenges, working collaboratively in a team environment.

Document modifications and changes during the production process and communicate these to the engineering department, quality teams, and other stakeholders.



Qualifications

Essential

Currently pursuing MBO3/4 in mechatronics, electronics, information technology, or a related field. Interest in robotics and product assembly.

Preferred

Positive, energetic, and cheerful demeanor. Motivated and eager to learn with a growth-oriented mindset. Proactive and capable of working independently.

Possessing a cheerful, energetic, and positive attitude.
