Walker Engineering, a prominent player in the field of commercial electrical construction, is seeking a Surveying and Robotics Technician to enhance their team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and manage Robotic GPS tools for precise point layout on construction sites.
- Identify and designate points on job sites for Electrical and Low Voltage Systems.
- Work collaboratively with the BIM/CAD team, on-site Operations, and General Contractors to resolve any challenges.
- Propose and execute process enhancements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
- 1-5 years of experience with Robotic GPS equipment and surveying in the commercial construction sector.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD MEP/Revit Software is advantageous (training will be provided).
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills are essential.
- Possession of reliable transportation and a valid driver's license is required.
- Ability to interpret construction blueprints and communicate effectively.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Must successfully pass a drug screening.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Engages in a client project setting with interaction among subcontractors and trades.
