Walker Engineering, a prominent player in the field of commercial electrical construction, is seeking a Surveying and Robotics Technician to enhance their team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and manage Robotic GPS tools for precise point layout on construction sites.
  • Identify and designate points on job sites for Electrical and Low Voltage Systems.
  • Work collaboratively with the BIM/CAD team, on-site Operations, and General Contractors to resolve any challenges.
  • Propose and execute process enhancements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • 1-5 years of experience with Robotic GPS equipment and surveying in the commercial construction sector.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD MEP/Revit Software is advantageous (training will be provided).
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills are essential.
  • Possession of reliable transportation and a valid driver's license is required.
  • Ability to interpret construction blueprints and communicate effectively.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must successfully pass a drug screening.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Engages in a client project setting with interaction among subcontractors and trades.
