Responsibilities:- Provide direct clinical care to Allergy Department patients, ensuring a professional and courteous experience.
- Conduct basic patient assessments, including vital sign measurements, lung sound auscultation, and patient questioning.
- Deliver patient education on Allergy Department services, including testing, immunotherapy, potential complications, and medication use.
- Perform percutaneous and intradermal allergy testing, document results, and process specimens as requested.
- Recognize and assist in treating allergic reactions, document per protocol, and maintain a clean and productive work area.
- Prepare allergy serum formulas, administer biologic injections, and maintain accurate records.
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program with at least one year of clinical experience.
