Construction Financial Specialist

NorthPoint Search Group Inc is seeking a dedicated Construction Financial Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate invoices for clients, manage all overhead and project cost invoices throughout the accounting cycle.
  • Collaborate daily with vendors and subcontractors on various matters including billing, payments, insurance, and lien waivers.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations and finalize accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly collection reports.
  • Address a range of miscellaneous tasks assigned by the financial controller.
  • Provide information and analytical support to project managers regarding accounting and subcontractor matters.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with subcontractors and project managers across all aspects of project accounting.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma is mandatory; a college degree is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience is essential; additional experience is beneficial, particularly in construction accounting.
  • Familiarity with Viewpoint software is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
  • Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, prioritize tasks, and complete projects effectively.
  • Capable of performing well under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in building relationships with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
