We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Assistant I to join our team at MemorialCare Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic patient care, including personal hygiene, ambulation, and assistance with activities of daily living.
- Collect and document patient data, including vital signs and medical information.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Collaborate with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to achieve desired patient outcomes.
- Participate in performance improvement and patient safety activities to ensure a safe and clean environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic computer knowledge preferred.
- Minimum of one year of recent Acute Care experience preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate or minimum of one year nursing assistant experience or currently enrolled in Nursing Program with successful completion of at least one semester preferred.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support card required.
