Position Overview:
Openwork is currently seeking a dedicated professional to fulfill the role of a Sales Representative. This position involves fostering and nurturing relationships with both new and existing customers in the Matting sector to guarantee satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while reactivating dormant accounts.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Assist customers with product knowledge and virtual requests.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and prompt follow-ups.
  • Perform data entry tasks, including updating customer information in the CRM system.
  • Schedule regular follow-ups with clients.
  • Manage quotes and virtual inquiries.
  • Process sample orders as required.
  • Oversee leads generated from trade shows.
  • Handle freight quote inquiries.
  • Participate in monthly meetings.
  • Contribute to the research and development of new products.
  • Attend virtual and local trade shows as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including administrative support for the sales team.

Qualifications:
  • Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties effectively.
  • Requirements include a combination of education and experience that enables the individual to perform the job functions.
Education and Experience:
  • A minimum of a one-year certificate from a college or technical school, or two years of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
Language Proficiency:
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Capability to write basic correspondence.
  • Skill in presenting information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
Mathematical Skills:
  • Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations and the ability to interpret data and graphs.
Reasoning Skills:
  • Ability to apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
  • Capability to address problems with concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Requirements:
  • Employees must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to stand and walk; occasionally required to use hands for various tasks.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds as needed.
