Job Summary

The Therapeutic Support Specialist is a vital member of our team at Best Point Education & Behavioral Health, responsible for providing daily supervision to clients enrolled in assigned programs. This role requires a strong ability to provide backup support, crisis support, and coverage for staff absences as needed. The successful candidate will also assist the supervisor in implementing evidence-based models and completing administrative tasks. Additionally, this position involves providing coverage for Therapeutic Group Leaders during absences, delivering all services as a TGL, and collaborating in the implementation of individual treatment plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide daily supervision to clients enrolled in assigned programs
  • Offer backup support, crisis support, and coverage for staff absences as needed
  • Assist the supervisor in implementing evidence-based models and completing administrative tasks
  • Provide coverage for Therapeutic Group Leaders during absences, delivering all services as a TGL
  • Collaborate in the implementation of individual treatment plans
Requirements

This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in human services or a related field from an accredited institution. Leadership experience in child-serving systems or a closely related field is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Windows and the ability to use standard Microsoft Office applications.
