About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Architect III to join our Buildings + Places team in Orlando, FL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading architectural projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced architectural/engineering calculations and prepare specifications, reports, and related data tables.
- Maintain liaison with design and drafting groups, and prepare, review, and approve drawings as required.
- Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, independently perform technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.
- Assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree plus 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Architectural License required.
- Previous experience working as an Architect on projects.
- Demonstrated experience using Autodesk Revit required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with Project Managers and Clients on large projects across various regions.
- 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Experience using one or more of the following is helpful: Bluebeam, Sketchup, AutoCAD, Lumion, Rhino, Autodesk Navisworks, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
