Job Summary

As an Advanced Oncology Practitioner with Hartford HealthCare (HHC), you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, value-based care to patients in our East Region. With a focus on ambulatory settings, you will work closely with a cohesive team to provide comprehensive cancer care.

About the Role

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 annually, based on experience, and a supportive work environment with approachable physicians who are committed to providing mentorship and training. As a key member of our team, you will have opportunities for professional advancement and trainings through HHC's unique relationship with Memorial Sloan Kettering.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide value-based care in an ambulatory setting, involved in triage and the spectrum of outpatient management, including but not limited to: Benign hematology visits, sick/urgent visits, chemotherapy education/teach visits, bone marrow aspirations, overseeing infusion follow up appointments, and ongoing survivorship care.

• Work collaboratively with a close-knit group to deliver compassionate and high-quality care to cancer patients.

• Assist in building a comprehensive cancer program, leveraging opportunities for growth and development within HHC's East Region.

Requirements

• Eligibility to be licensed in Connecticut as a Physician Assistant (PA), or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is required.

• Eligibility to be certified as a Physician Assistant (PA), or National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) is required.

• Chemotherapy Biotherapy provider card is required.

• Oncology experience as a PA, NP, or RN is preferred.
