Job Summary

At Sunland Logistics Solutions, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload inbound shipments and efficiently move product to storage locations, ensuring accurate and safe stacking practices.
  • Conduct quality checks on inbound and outbound shipments, reporting any damage or discrepancies.
  • Pull and prepare products for shipment, adhering to customer service standards and ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
  • Load and unload materials from staging and storage areas into trailers and other forms of transportation, utilizing forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a safe, neat, and clean condition, performing daily inspections and adhering to prescribed work methods.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory control and security, ensuring accurate records and reports are kept.
Requirements
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 1 year or more of related experience and/or training.
Work Environment

The Material Handler will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, exposed to various temperatures and conditions. The ability to work safely and efficiently in a team-oriented setting is essential.
