Swift Placement & Consulting is seeking an experienced Machining Sales Professional to join our team in the Cleveland area. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with high-quality machine tools and automation solutions, designing integrated custom machining processes and systems.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and performing machine sales activities in the assigned region, building corporate identity and promoting customer satisfaction and loyalty to ensure future sales growth and optimize revenue and profit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Territory Development: Identify and develop new customers, maintaining an existing customer base, creating action plans to penetrate new markets, and cultivating customer relationships.
  • Sales Performance: Meet or exceed yearly sales targets, analyzing and monitoring sales forecast activity, and making necessary changes to achieve company objectives.
  • Product Demonstration: Arrange for product demonstrations at technical centers, establishing professional relationships within the industry and partnering with customers to understand their needs.
  • Communication: Maintain daily communication with the Territory Sales Manager, engaging in active cold calling, and continuous maintenance of CRM for contacts, accounts, opportunities, quotes, etc.
  • Marketing: Actively promote company products and services on social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, participating in industry trade association groups.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in sales or business, with four to six years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
  • Experience: At least five years' experience in machine tool, industrial, or capital equipment sales, with computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, knowledge of CRM preferred.
  • Skillset: Exceptional customer following and loyalty, relationship builder, excellent follow-up and tracking skills, strong work ethic, ability to multi-task and work under pressure, solid time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, education assistance, 401(k) plan, and opportunities for advancement.
