Job Description
As a Painter (Decorative Finishing Specialist) at Cleveland Clinic, you will apply paint, stains, and other surface treatments to interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, furniture, equipment, and property. Your work will involve preparing surfaces by washing, taping, mudding, patching, scraping, sanding, torching, and smoothing prior to applying finishes. You will also maintain existing paint surfaces by matching and tinting appropriate paint products, ensuring that all areas remain clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience painting in a healthcare environment. Preferred qualifications include completion of an apprenticeship program or four years of on-the-job training. A strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently are essential for success in this position.
